Okami - Celestial Manga Penby *Clockwork7

This is my submission for the DeviantArt Okami contest that's running at the moment!

Since a lot of people are going with colour, I decided to do something a little different and present some of the ladies from Okami in a black and white manga-style portrait. After all, the powers of Amaterasu's celestial artistic abilities come in many forms - sumi-e and otherwise! The inks were done with a mixture of G-Pen and fineliner, and the tones are all digital.

Haven't played the game yet, but have been dying to for the past year!

Pen and ink, Adobe Photoshop 7.

Note to judges - large resolution version of picture fitting the competition guidelines is available on request.

Very nice piece. I feel for the original story it's slightly stiff but it's great, and you clearly know how to draw in their loose style as i can see from the other images.
